Oh, how I couldn't resist posting that as my title today.  It is v e r y c o l d.


Poor DH is out in the field.  It was only like, 10 degrees last night!  How can the military DO that to them?  War is different.  Training in subzero temps when you're not even on GRF status isn't right.

Anyway, busy blogging my heart out.  Going to Ohio on the 21st for two weeks to stay with the in-laws with DH.  Not looking forward to the drive with a 2 year old and a 4 month old.  Hmmmmm.

Halloween 2010 {part 2}

Halloween 2010 {part 1)

Halloween was finally fun this year with the kids.  Ok, let me explain.

DD just turned 2 in Sept., so the past Halloween's haven't really counted.  She was a Ball 'O Mush Princess her first Halloween, a Wobbling Ladybug her second, and for her third...a beautiful, innocent, Snow White.  How can she be on her third Halloween, you ask?  Well, she was born September 15, 2008.  So anyway, this was her first Halloween that she could actually carry a bucket, go up to people, and say 'trick-or-treat!'  Her vocab is a bit limited right now, so the best she could do was 'peeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeezzzzzzzz.'  How can you turn that down?!?

DS, who was born this past August {14th}, was a little punkin'.  A cute, lil' mushy punkin'.  I was a 'omg-this- costume-fits-me-Geisha girl!' and hubby was Joe Dirt.  He pulled it off spectacularly!  We had some friends come over to go T-r-Ting with us, which made it even more fun!  We handed out candy to a few kids, but mostly, we weren't home long enough to give away our bucket, so I made DH hide it so I don't pig out on it.
